#1 The story takes place basically in the Hardy boys house and Shortys Diner in Bayport. Their house and city are not described in detail so I can not think of a place like that.
#2 The story takes place at the Hardy Boys House and at the diner down their street. The book dosn't tell where it is so I do not know what city, state or countrty the setting is. I wish the book told us where it is so we could get a better understanding of the setting so we could be more spesific in our answers.

#1 my favorite charachter is the genral because he is a bit mysterious and knows a lot about the civil war. my least favorite charachter is dr. bush because he is a really mean villan. he is a mean villan because he broke in to the hardy boys house.
#2 My favorite charater(s) are the boys because they are very adventerous and are always up to a challenge. I like the general also because he is a tricky character because we don't know what side he's on so he is a good character to think about. My least favorite character is Dr. Bush because they think that he is a bad guy but he might be on the good side but again, why did he run away from them? I think he MIGHT be on the good side because mabe he was on a hurry to some where.

#1 the secret of the lost tunnel is about the hardy boys who are detectives. who have to find a civil war treasure while evading Dr. bush and his henchmen the hardy boys know Dr. bush is a bad guy because he broke in to there house and also kidnapped them. chet the hardy boys best friend and the genral { the client } rescued the hardy boys from Dr. bush.the hardy boys know a important clue is under a bridge but the bridge was built during the civil war! so it is hard for the hardy boys to find the bridge were the important clue is.
#2 Our story is ALOT more interesting than I thought it was. What I still think we need to know is WHO IS THAT WOMAN WHO CALLED THEM???? The book sould've said more aabout that call because we still don't know who she was or who's side she is on. And how was that well there and how come Chet couldn't see it before? Why did Junior enter the shooting thing when he was so young? How come when they got the iorn box there was only horseshoes in it when the clule said the gold was in it?

#1 this book reminds me of a movie called national treasure 2 because some friends have to find civil war gold while evading mr. wilkinson and his henchmen mr. wilkinson is like dr.bush in are book.
#2 This book reminds me of really any adventure or mystery movie because they always have a bad guy(s), a thing to find or a mystery to slolve and the good guys always get the thing or solve the mystery and they always get the bad guy.
